Get More ARC Readers

Hey writers, let’s talk about another tip to help you grow your launch team, your arc readers, whatever you want to call it. I did a video with some tips on how to grow your launch team. You can check that out on my profile. I also just did a video about how I highly recommend creating a group of some sort where your launch team art creators can interact. I use Facebook because I’m an elder millennial.

It’s what I know how to use, so it’s easiest for me. Discord was mentioned as a really great option. Whatever works for you. So a tip to build on that to help you continue to grow your launch team once you have that Facebook group established. And this only works if you’re kind of starting to build your launch time launch team with plenty of time before the launch of your book.

So my book launches September 30. I have been building my launch team for quite a while. I got the arc out a few weeks ago, don’t even remember the date and there’s still time, right? I think probably like September 1 or like mid September is the cutoff of when, like it might not be long enough to read the book before it launches. So within my Facebook group, I am running giveaways here.

And there too is a fun thing I do to keep my group engaged. One of those opportunities for folks to get entered in meva Way is to invite someone else to the launch team. So a lot of these members are already starting to read the book and they have an idea of who else might enjoy it. So I encourage them to invite someone and each person they invite is a shmevaway entry. Sure.

I don’t know if we can say entry. I don’t know any who having that group is tip one and then running Shmevo ways where folks invite other people into the group and then using those invites as an entry is a great way to get even more people on your launch team. So I think when I like, was celebrating that I had over 100 people on my launch team and then by the time I actually posted that video, I was up to 120 and now I think I’m up to like 133. And the last little chunk of people came in from encouraging my team to invite other people. So that helps me get beyond my immediate contacts.

People that I invited personally into the group or reached out to and found on TikTok. It then extends my reach. So then these people, I had one woman say she invited six people from her book club. Not all of them joined, but those are people that I wouldn’t have been able to reach on my own. So there you go.

There’s another idea to help you build your launch team and build a group of arc readers that can help read your book early and hopefully get the word out about your book. Let me know if you have any more questions.
